After a very long flight (I couldn't help but to think what it'll be like with a baby on the way back) we arrived in Beijing around 4pm time here. We were met at the airport by our lovely guide Chen Chen (she suggested to help us remember her name we think of "double chen" haha!) and a driver that navigated us through rush hour traffic. We are very impressed with our hotel. We had a decent nights sleep, cleaned ourselves up and just got back from a lovely buffet breakfast. Anyone that know me understands how much all these things mean to me!
We have a free day today and will be exploring around the old part of Beijing. Thanks for the many thoughts and prayers that got us here. It means so much.
